Soo

Founder and Director

Soo grew up longing for a mentor, someone who could guide her, since her parents were often busy working and her siblings were much older. After settling in Southern California with her husband and two children, her desire for teaching and supporting the next generation gained momentum. She wanted not only to help children succeed academically, but also to plant seeds of strong character and kindness. Feeling a deep responsibility to be a light and guide for young minds, Soo founded Good Seed Academy — a name that reflects her mission to nurture intellect, integrity, and above all character. After raising her children and seeing them graduate, she gained valuable insight from her own journey and from observing other parents who nurture and care for their children. She believes in the power of a supportive, collaborative community and desires to work together to raise the next generation to become the light of the world — future leaders shaped by compassion, resilience, and love.
